Lobbs Cafe

The brief was to create an open, light-filled & approachable space which celebrated the existing conditions of the building. High ceilings, timber flooring and a subtle pastel palette. A monolithic servery, with simple linear lighting above. Block colouring & corrugated polycarbonate sheeting. On the walls, a series of striking photographic portraits pays homage to a range of Brunswick identities. A variety of seating styles offer multiple configurations and varying energies for patrons, a private dining room on a raised platform at the rear of the venue offers a secluded space for groups to gather around a quiet communal table.

Canning Street House

Our design took inspiration from garden houses and conservatories to create a tranquil space with a focus on views of the home’s well established garden. The colour palette that was adopted was very much a soft & minimal palette – pale timbers, grey tones, simple white & black. A ‘fun’ selection of loose furniture with a mix of contemporary furniture and styling – we used Australian designers & timeless products to compliment the spaces.
